Shout Out to Mekelle...

Mekelle, you said you were bored, and since I can't cure Kyle for you so you two can be out on the lake or hunting or studying or running instead of stuck in the hospital, here's the next best thing...

These are all different days...I guess I have a few favorites I stick to for the little guy

This was my version of peekaboo. I had my phone set up recording so he could see himself on the screen, which toward the end became much more enticing than mommy, obviously.

Checking himself out in my phone. He's recently become obsessed with looking at that other little person in the mirror, hitting him with his hand, talking and smiling at him. He starts tensing up and getting excited every time I walk into the bathroom because he knows I'm going to stop at the medicine cabinet mirror and turn on the lights so he can play with his little friend.

Sitting up! Still not amazingly well, but pretty good now! He has yet to roll more than one roll on the ground. He's a bit of a slow mover, but I'll take my freedom while I have it!

 We had a little picnic at the park last week, took P down the slide and on the swings for the first time, he's obsessed. Every time we stopped swinging him, he'd start to whine and kick his legs and throw a little tantrum. As soon as we started pushing him again, back to happy little Parker! I think we're in trouble with this one. He is VERY opinionated about what he does and doesn't want, and he is NOT afraid to let us know. I can feel it. Help me.

Steve and I always talk about how it's such a good thing he is so stinkin adorable, 

because he is CRAZY sometimes!

 The local ads were his little BFF that day. I love that face he makes on the top right, he's usually singing in a high, quiet voice when he does that one. And eating it. He's only recently started to put some things in his mouth. So far he seems to like biting blankets and towels, and sometimes that musical duck in the picture. He grabs them and squishes them into his face and bites, then cuddles them. Gah melts my heart.

 Outdoor mall shopping and dinner date last night, and we busted out the big boy seat for the stroller! BAM! He looked so cute sitting up in it, and loved looking out at everything and everyone. And yes, those are Krispy Kreme's! BOW CHICA BOW WOW!

He's sticking out his tongue and the little puffs he's now eating in the top right.

His current favorite toy is that plastic keychain he's holding. He stares at that thing and plays with it for quite a while....(which is not incredibly long, I swear he has ADD) every time I pick him up if he's playing with it, he continues to hold it and those things come with us!

 It was like 85 yesterday, so you KNOW we hit up the pool! And the day before. And today.

Auntie Geri came to play and get some snuggle time. It's love I tell ya.
