I think I felt SJ kicking or poking or harassing me in some fashion last week in Relief Society. I was sitting there and I felt these little taps in the same spot over and over again and said to myself, "Self...THAT WASN'T A GAS BUBBLE!!!"
I may or may not have gotten tears in my eyes and texted my mom and made her eyes leak too :)
Have any of you seen that new show on Lifetime "One Born Every Minute"?!?! I LOVE IT!!! It's usually 3 labor/delivery stories documentary style at some hospital. I CRY every time. I cry during American Idol, commercials make me cry, I'm definitely a little crazy sometimes and it's weird because I KNOW it's not me and how I would normally react, and Steve knows it too so we usually end up laughing really hard and then me crying because of how crazy I'm being....that and he's really good at diffusing the situations.
We had our real big-boy ultrasound earlier in the week and yup, it's still a little man-child and everything is normal. THANK. YOU.
I'm not gonna lie, before we initially found out the sex, I wanted a girl.
There. I said it. I wanted a girl.
So I was in shock when we found out it was a boy, and HONESTLY, a tad disappointed.
EEK. I know. I'm sorry.
But as we were heading to this next ultraound, I realized I would be REALLY sad if it turned out to be a girl! Nothing against girls, I've just really come to love this little guy and have imagined what he would be like, us with him, Steve with him, watching him play sports, him getting nervous about taking some girl out on his first date, him leaving for his mission, etc etc and I wouldn't have it any other way.
That and there are some stinkin cute boy clothes out there (contrary to popular, including my original belief!)
So after our 730am appt we went to breakfast because Steve was FREE last week, then went back home and crawled into bed until 1-ish. Mmmmmm I love sleep.
Then to Babies-R-Us.
At one point Steve kinda got this look on his face and starting hyperventilating, saying he's not sure if he's ready for a kid and what the heck are we going to do with a kid....
but then 5 minutes later he was giggly and excited again!
I swear, men and their hormones....so dang emotional...
Some of you may know that STEVE. HATES. TO. DANCE.
He calls it the root of all evil.
Well, watch this montage of our friends and us gettin our Wii on at Geri and Jason's!!!!!
(If you want to witness the goodness of Steve dancing, start at 4:10)
you guys rocked it!!!!
