Snot

I was excited to Swiffer my floor today, but I got sick. Dangit. 

Now I'm just lounging around wiping my nose and eating Cadbury Eggs (the mini ones with the deliciously crunchy and aromatic shells, not the large bodily fluids-filled kind) and Starburst jellybeans instead of sweating on my bike trainer Steve got me for V-day (romantic I know :).

I may or may not have found the energy to go buy a cute coat (end-of-season sale), top, and cardigan to replace a shirt I returned.......

In other news, our world is an evil one. I'm sure everybody has heard the news of the California girl raped and murdered by the sex-offender let out of prison early (thank you Shawna for getting news to those outside of California before it hit news here). Heinous. Last week I read an article about a 30-year-old Special Ed teacher that was shot and murdered outside of her school by a stalker she'd had since high school who was again, freed of prison early.

At least our judicial system is doing something right: Brian Mitchell, the disturbed psycho who kidnapped and repeatedly raped Elizabeth Smart seven years ago (who, by the way, is now serving a mission in France....I shake my head in amazement at that girl) has finally been deemed competent to stand trial, and now will. It's pathetic it's taken seven years for red tape to be danced around in order for his plea of insanity to be dismissed, but at least it's been done. There's a special place for that man, and let's just say it's exponentially hotter'n a Mexican jalapeno in Texas mid-August.

To top it off, our President still smokes?!?
