My little speed demon and I had ourselves a little alone time with a bunch of other dudes at the local electric go-kart place. It was romantical.
No, really. We left the place holding hands, looking into each other's eyes while discussing the fastest way to round those corners without spinning out. Love my man.
Little Man's been rolling over onto his belly, hanging out for a minute, then squealing because he can't get back onto his back. Fun-ny.
Ellen Show babies reunited! This one's my favorite, Camden's just giving Peyton some flirtacious little love taps, right? The babies' mumblings were all escalating to screaming so we mamas decided to quickly get them all together to take pics so we could all get them home. As soon as we laid them all next to each other they all began looking side to side at each other and were all silent and content. Ah, baby love.
I missed the wedding of one of my besties and old roomies, Lindsey.
(Taken at me and Steve's much cheaper and much nicer apartment in Provo....sigh....)
Well, we grew up and she married what seems like an incredible guy, Kirk. Traveling with Parker to Texas was kinda crazy, and I would have had to fly solo (literally) with P$ and that just wasn't gonna happen without a breakdown or two. So alas, I stayed here in Cali. BUT I got to hang with the darling newlyweds all in-love for a minute while I picked them up from the airport and dropped them off for their cruise. Congratulations Stephens!
When I laid him down, he was 90 degrees the other way, on his back, and all limbs were wrapped nice and tidy in the blanket.
I feel like Parker's somewhat of a crazy baby. I don't really know any different, so I really don't know what I'm talking about. But in reading things and talking with others, he's definitely not one of those chill, easy babies. I feel like he's going to be a little wild child as he gets older. Some days I've had it by the end of the day and bedtime couldn't come soon enough. Sometimes his screaming is like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. I realize he's a baby and can't help it and that's his way of communicating something to me and I'm his mama and it's my responsibility to see that need out, but sometimes it's just hard, ya know? But then there are those moments, giggles, grins, snuggles, soft coos directed at me, and batting of the eyelashes that make it all worth it. Love him and his happy little spirit.
We're gettin all sorts of lovey-dovey up in this joint.
Eli and I go back to babyhood. But for reals back to 9th grade. Now we're popping out babies left and right. CRAZY right? Her mother and grandmother are Nicaraguan, and her family came out here to soak up some sun and hang out. So of course her Nicaraguan grandmother threw a baby shower for her with all of her Latina Senoritas in her living room complete with permanent wooden dance floor and disco ball. It. Was. Insane. Like 30 Hispanic loud, crazy, boisterous senoritas aged 65+ insane.
Hence, the awesome cake.
Happy Baby, Eli.
Some vids of my little man
Well, I lost my marbles and signed up for a half marathon. OK I know that may not be a big deal to some of you fancy shmancy crazy runner people, but I just started running a couple months ago. But had to stop for 6 weeks thanks to the pregnancy hormone relaxin that makes all your joints loosey goosey and jacked up my left hip and knee. A little moola and a couple hands-on chiropractor visits later, my joints are now cooperating. Training schedule starts in about 6 weeks. Advice is gladly accepted :)
