Sooo I had my appointment today...39 weeks, due in 5 days, and NADA. ZIP. ZILCH. Cervix's just a little soft still, same from last week.
Poopy.
I haven't gained any weight the last 2 weeks, so that means he's not growing, so that means he should want to come out and play, right?! I'm a nice person, I promise!
I guess this means Steve and I have more time to do whatever, so that's good, and I'm honestly not very uncomfortable (minus these sharp stabbing pains I get occasionally down in my unmentionables, which my OB says is my cervix trying to open. I say yeah right.)...I just can't help but want to move on to the next bigger and better thing.
Human nature, right?
So back to sleeping in (after not falling asleep until 1/2am), naps, lounging, giggling about what the heck we're gonna do with a baby, organizing, cleaning, peeing, and sweating up a storm. Love it.

And TA-DA!!! Steve finished the changing table! It was this old oak/honey color.
He did so good! It looks awesome
It's now filled with diapers, wipes, lotion, powder, bum cream, nail clippers, snot suckers,
towels, blankets, burp cloths...
so glad we have it, if anything for the storage.
CUTE!!!!! I can't believe the next time I see you, you will have a baby!! And Steve will be a father...uh-oh...;)

ReplyDeleteOh nesting:) So fun. Love the new cover and I WANT THE OLD ONE!!! I commented on that post too. Can you tell I love it:) I am just so floored that it is my baby girls colors! Her colors are torqoise, yellow and orange (totally not typical baby girl, but I think they're fun:) Anywho, hope you're doing well.
