Another thing checked off our list. Checking things off is bittersweet--it's fun to have an excuse to do these sweet things with my sweet husband, but the more we check off the closer we get to being done. Finito. Today was my last day at work. I cried. Yeah..........
Anyway Steve and Steve's dad accompanied myself to Zion's Subway hike. It's a 5-6 hour hike through open slickrock, slot canyons, pools filled with freezing water you swim through, repelling down stuff on ropes, rock slides, and lots of bugs. Gross I know.
And tadpoles!!! Ah so cute!
And this is Jeremiah!!! My adorable nephew. He points at everything and expresses with gusto what it is...."BIG truck (sometimes "Daddy truck!"), "dinosaur!", "eletant!"
He kept begging for ice, but would get these awful brainfreezes, one eye would start twitching, he would close both and exclaim, "Ohhh!!!" and cry. Then ask for more. His newborn little brother is in the NICU at Primary's with some pretty serious complications. My dear sister-in-law Michelle and her hubby Steve have their hands full with baby Jacob. Yall are in our prayers every night!!!
Bachelorette Party with ma girls. Frank is a hormonal girl, Roberto is dreamy and sweaty, Chris is adorable and eats Ali's face when he makes out with her.
Steve and I went to the Mt. Timpanogos temple and just HAPPENED to run into a bunch of family that had just finished doing sealings with my grandpa. YES!!! So we went in and joined his group. He didn't recognize us walking in at first (he's 84/5 and has Parkinson's). But after he did, tears came, his nose reddened, he bragged a bit to the others about his grandkids and disclaimed that he has 68 of us and needs his wife to keep us straight haha. Between the work we did, he instructed us on a lot of different things, things he didn't exactly have reasons for telling us. Amazing experience.
oh my gosh i TOTALLY thought the same thing about chris eating her face!! but he's still my fav, cuz my man has big lips too...

ReplyDeleteYou've got a lot to do on your bucket list. What a great idea before you move. Do it all before kids too. We're still trying to figure out how to continue being active TOGETHER and include the kids but it gets tricky and expensive.
