Pomp and Circumstance

STEVE GRADUATED!
Well, kinda. He still has 2 more classes to take for Spring semester, then he's done.
For the summer. Then he has 4 more years left. Somewhat anti-climactic? Meh...

Janene and I cheering for our husbands up in the Marriott Center stands (her husband, Aaron was graduating too. He's headed for dental school, along with my brother...again, all maybe slightly anti-climactic)
undergrad...
YAY!!!
him and the wifey
him and the proud parents
him and the little sister
him and the brother-in-law
brothers and sisters

Want to know what this smile is from?
The day before graduation, Steve found out he received a $62,000 scholarship for grad school---HALF of our tuition. Holy Moly. We are certainly counting our blessings!!!
We celebrated by doing brunch at Mimi's afterwards and hanging out the rest of the day.

Saturday Steve rewarded himself by tinkering with his bike, I did my first 30-miler bike ride of the season then another 25 today, and ate at Cheesecake Factory with other graduating friends that night. So fun.

Sunday, the celebration continued at The Anderson's with dinner and Steve's sister Michelle came down with our DARLING nephew.
That kid has non-stop energy! Always love seeing them both!

  1. Yay Steve! I'm coming to family reunion. Mike is going to save his vacation time for when we go to Utah for Thanksgiving. Jordan and Kathryn wont be home next until Christmas and will miss the baby being born. So my parents are going with us to Utah for Thanksgiving so everyone can see the baby.
