Still In Bed

Good morning all. I'm still in bed and my bed is treating me oh-so-right, so in bed I remain. I've been here for the last 12 hours, solely interrupted by a 5am rendition of the Geico song from my phone which I was delighted to hear--work was putting me on call. Score! Later a good-bye kiss from my sweet husband and back to dreamland I went. Now, lazily in bed thinking about:

The trip a bunch of friends and I are planning next weekend headed to Zion's or Bryce Canyon or something...sun, mountains, food, sweat will all be involved. Thrilling.

Politics are mindless games based on speculation. Nobody knows it's future course or whatever tangential effects it will produce because nobody even knows what it mandates! What is it, 2000 pages? Healthcare reform has taken over our society and everybody involved is an idiot. There. I said it.

I was asked to say the closing prayer in our Stake Conference next weekend. Eeek.

A girl name I just thought of for any possible future little Stephanies. Oh I love it, it's darling.

I need to go on a detox diet with all those plates of goodies we got on Sunday. 5. Really? I feel the love, but the sun is thinking about heading to Provo in the next month or so and I really need to shed the pudge winter has so generously bestowed on me.

I cooked a chicken again last night. It's long, broken neck remained and stared at me every time I cracked open the oven door to baste it. Poor chicken.
But with a little garlic/salt/pepper, roasted potatoes and broccoli,
you made our tummies oh-so-happy!

The Mavs get paid more than any other NBA team, including The Lakers. AND we broke the 3-way tie between us, Jazz and Nuggets so we're #2 and they're #3 and #4. Take that Sloan.
I know, the season's not yet over. You just wait though, you just wait.
